It has been quiet with restoration news lately. The reason is that I have been busy moving in again!

Earlier in the year, it was the massive life altering move from Elsinore to Portimão. From a large single store family house on the Danish coastline, to a 40 sqm. apartment in Algarve.

This time the move is within Portimão - actually within the same building. From the attic apartment to the first floor apartment.

The attic apartment has been great, but my scared skull (from ceiling beam encounters) and the heat in the summer made it less than ideal.

The new apartment is larger (apprx 85 sqm.) and it is better scructured. It has better and easier access, the kitchen is spectacular and the bathrooms (plural) are great.

The restoration project is at a pause and the crew is taking a break until the new year - well deserved. I don't expect the next project here on the townhouse plot will start, before Janurary 2026.

Meanwhile I will settle in and get used to the new surroundings. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
