There was no work in the house this week due to two days of carnival holidays and the fact that the sun came out and dried a lot. Meaning I had to give up the crew to put in hours on other projects that has been neglected due to the massive rain fall.

I must say I appriciate the I am the flex-workplace, because i provide to the construction team the option to work on project both inside and outside.
So the crew was working another quintal project, hre on the same street (very convinient for all).

I will however make an update on what happend last Saturday after i posted my previous blog post, because the crew was working on the stairs foundation and I wanted to share some photos of the progress.

The construction was done using three concrete beams, that was anchored at the new base and at the mezzanine floor. The beams were then filled with light foundatoin stones - as you would do if you were creating a ceiling/floor devider between two apartments.
Then a mesh iron wos added on top of the beams and the whole thing was filled with concrete. The stairs will be built on top of this foundation.
