We sign off on the restoration of the attic apartment.

After we did the first viewing of the house, we came out thinking that of the three apartments, the ground apartment was the one closest to becoming re-suitable for accommodation. The damage and state of the first floor and attic apartments was simply in a much worse condition.
However after the completion of the rooftop terrasse and the attic apartment roof, the constructor insisted that the attic apartment would be easier to completed based on the work and infrastructure put in place as part of the first project and partly because the attic apartment is the smallest of the three – circa 55 square meters.
Until then I planned that I would DIY my way through the rest of the restauration over the next decade, however an unforeseen positive budgeting error and the quote and proposal took us into a constructor led project number two – restoring the attic apartment, int a 2-bedroom apartment with a bathroom, a storage room and a Kitchenette.
